Stavernfestivalen is one of Norway’s biggest summer festivals and is held in Stavern, just outside Larvik at Larvik golf arena. It’s held yearly and takes place in July. In 2019 there were roughly 75 000 attendees over a three-day period, and the first festival took place already in 2001.
The festival offers the best local artists in Norway and international artists. If you want the full festival experience, you can live at the campsite with thousands of other attendees enjoying the festivities with activities such as volleyball, a food court with a wide selection of different food and good music.
The festival needs a lot of power distributed to several locations since the festival area is approximately 80 000 square meters. It contains 2 stages, a food festival, 4 bar areas, a campsite and a shopping street which all need power and distribution between the locations. In this year’s power package, we delivered batteries to power both stages.
