Interview with Chrisander Kamsvåg
Chrisander is 23 years old and lives in Geithus, Modum. He works as a Service & Maintenance Engineer at the depot Pon Energy Rental depot in Drammen.
He became a certified high-voltage fitter in 2022 and after a short period as a field engineer, he joined the company in November 2023 as a Service & Maintenance Engineer. Even though he is quite new in the company he has already worked on several projects, both small and big and with different types of applications.
Outside work he keeps busy with hobbies that include spending time with friends, car restoration, weightlifting, and watches. His latest project is an Audi that he has refurbished and restored completely.
Chrisander values his colleagues a lot, and the work environment and cooperation between both different employees and departments. “The best thing about working at Pon Energy Rental is the colleagues, we have a lot of fun working together.”

What do you like the best about your job?
The best part about my job is that the tasks are very varied, I work a lot on the field with different applications but also on the depot with several different tasks. The projects also vary a lot in size which is very fun, and I come across many different solutions and applications as well.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I spend a lot of my spare time on refurbishing and fixing my car. Another interest is high voltage applications, I’m very interested in the trade and spend a lot of time looking at different applications and work involving different high voltage applications. I also enjoy lifting weights at the gym, and I also have a passion for watches.
How would you describe working at Pon Energy Rental and what is your proudest work moment?
The cohesion between the engineers and the other employees is very good, and you get a good variation of tasks. It’s definitely the people that’s the biggest benefit of working here.
