Interview with Marieke Maas

Marieke is 41 years old and lives in Eersel with her husband, daughter, and son. She works as a Sales Engineer at the depot in Bladel.

Marieke joined the company in 2008 as a Sales Support. She changed her role in 2013 and she became an Inside Sales Engineer. She left the company for a brief period in 2018 but thankfully she joined us again after 1,5 years.

Marieke has a bachelor’ degree in industrial engineering, which is a great advantage with the technical solutions she is creating for our customers together with her colleagues. With everything from HVAC solutions, peak shaving solutions and many other technical energy solutions her technical knowledge is a great benefit.

What do you like the best about your job?

Working in the rental business makes every day different and challenging. We have a broad spectrum of customers and applications. One day I am quoting a HVAC solution for a big event, the other day I am visiting a potential customer with peak-shaving challenges. I never know what the day might bring!

What are your hobbies and interests?

Family, friends, and sports are my favorite recreation. Especially skiing in wintertime and hiking during summertime, preferably both in the Austrian mountains.

How would you describe working at Pon Energy Rental and what is your proudest work moment?

We have a dedicated team in the Benelux and work closely with our colleagues in Norway. Together we go the extra mile for our customers and I’m proud to be part of that team.

Recently I have been given the opportunity to start working as a Sales Engineer. It made me proud that I was given that opportunity. It felt as true appreciation and recognition of my personal ambitions to keep on learning and developing.
