In January 2021, Pon decided to go from being one of several part owners of Energyst, to buying the entire company and bringing us under the Pon wings as Pon Energy Rental. We are the same people still delivering the same services and products but reinforced with completely new forces.
Energyst has now become Pon Energy Rental, and we have new power on the team. This ensures that the same values Energyst has always had are maintained, even now as part of an even bigger brand. The new forces that have been added help to reinforce these values, and we at Pon Energy Rental stand even more firmly in our footsteps today than we did at Energyst.
New muscles and more expertise provide new opportunities to expand, be local and present for customers. This is what lays the foundation for the years ahead for us at Pon Energy Rental. We will continue to work towards our project customers, we will continue to deliver high quality and we will continue to ensure that all our customers receive top service.
The Pon family
Today we are part of one of the largest family-owned companies in the Netherlands, which is a leading international company and mobility group. A greener future
With Pon as a strong and steady owner behind us, we are ready to take the next step.
With greener machines and upgraded fleet, we will be an important contributor to creating zero emission workplaces for several different industries in Norway and the Benelux countries. With this, we will also deliver solutions with lower emissions than before, where zero emissions are still not possible.
This upgrade leads to exciting modern solutions in the machine park that are available to customers in the Norwegian and Benelux market, such as battery packs and EU5 generators.
As you know, one of the core values in Pon’s CSR strategy is the environment and climate. Therefore, new solutions and machines are constantly being introduced to the market that are designed to reduce emissions and the potential for environmental damage to Pon customers. Now we will also focus on a much greener time in the years to come.
Local presence gives customers confidence and security
With new forces, we will in the time ahead work to be present among our potential and existing customers. There has been a desire for a long time to establish a department in Trondheim (Norway), which has now become possible thanks to Pon. We have now opened our new depot in Trondheim for existing and new customers.
By having offices in several parts of the country, we can offer even better service, close follow-up and presence on several important projects in all the relevant markets. This has been made possible by the acquisition, and with a strong owner behind us, we are pleased to be able to expand our offer in Norway.
Today, Pon Energy Rental can offer services and solutions within five defined markets; events, offshore, critical facilities, industry and infrastructure. However, only imagination sets the limits for which markets we will be able to deliver customized solutions to in the future.
To date, we have also provided services and products to markets such as major oil and gas companies, mining, heavy industry, fish farming and royal events. With a new and more environmentally friendly fleet, new and innovative solutions and greater resources, nothing is impossible for us at Pon Energy Rental.
A specialized rental company
Today, we provide tailor-made and efficient solutions to a wide range of industries. We have divided our rental solutions into three categories: power, heating and cooling. Here we customize the solutions according to our customers’ needs and the environment in which they operate. In addition to offering solutions for land-based industries, we can also offer good solutions for offshore use.
In our range we currently offer air heaters, air-to-air heat pumps, hot water systems, air coolers, chillers, cooling towers, road tow generators, containerized generators, baldakin generators, offshore generators, HV transformers, LV transformers, offshore transformers, load banks and mobile electric chargers.

For added peace of mind, the majority of solutions can be monitored remotely. This way, you have even better control over the project and any errors or problems are detected early, reducing the risk of downtime for the customer. Many of the solutions are also fully electric and have low emission values, which is important to protect the environment.
All solutions will be tailored to the specific customer for optimal performance, and guidance will be provided by our highly skilled and experienced engineers.
