To support the existing cooling system at an expansive education and research complex, Pon Energy Rental delivered a comprehensive temporary cooling solution. During warmer periods, the permanent cooling capacity proved insufficient to maintain optimal indoor climate conditions in the buildings. Therefore, a temporary system expansion was chosen.
Delivered solution
A total of five chillers were installed on the campus grounds:
These chillers were centrally positioned and are managed from that central location, ensuring efficient and evenly distributed cooling across the site.
For power supply, the existing generator capacity on site was partly used. To meet the full power demand and ensure system reliability, Pon Energy Rental additionally supplied:
With this temporary setup, sufficient cooling capacity is available to maintain both comfort and technical conditions in the buildings, even during peak demand.
Thanks to this solution, the indoor climate in lecture halls, laboratories, and offices remains stable, even during high outdoor temperatures. The installation is fully tailored to the existing infrastructure and operates reliably under supervision of the on-site technical team, with support from Pon Energy Rental.
The entire system is equipped with online monitoring, allowing performance to be tracked remotely in real time. This enables rapid adjustments when needed, a proactive approach that ensures maximum availability and efficiency.
