We at Pon Energy Rental have recently delivered an efficient and sustainable battery solution to Onsite Treatment Services (OTS) in Norway. OTS is a leading supplier of equipment and services within water treatment and environmentally friendly solutions, especially adapted to the offshore industry. They deliver advanced technology that requires careful testing before shipment to offshore installations in the North Sea. 

The municipality of Schagen was assigned the task of accommodating 276 asylum seekers under the Dutch Distribution Act. However, the designated location lacked a power grid connection and was situated in a Natura 2000 area, which imposed strict environmental regulations.

Last winter, a distribution center faced a dual challenge in its energy supply. The existing heating system was temporarily out of service, and due to grid congestion, the installed heat pumps could not be used. 

Horten skipsreparasjoner (ship repairs) contacted us at Pon Energy Rental because the vessel REM POWER, which is an offshore wind supply vessel, needed to be docked.

We were contacted by Sira-Kvina on Wednesday, December 6, as they were testing a new emergency power switchboard and performing planned maintenance for a period of 14 days. To maintain operations, they needed a temporary power solution.

For our customer a battery peak shaving solution was the optimal solution since their challenge was an insufficient grid connection during daytime.

For the final rounds of the Handball World Championship in Trondheim Spektrum in December, we have delivered a large and efficient solution, as well as a highly skilled team to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

On the 10th-12th of November, the switchboard at the hospital in Egersund was scheduled to be replaced. The switchboard was installed when the hospital was built in the early 1970s, so it was time for an upgrade.

Agder Gruppen, a leading supplier in construction equipment rental, contacted us because they had a great need for temporary power during the construction of the new E18 near Porsgrunn, where a tunnel will be built.

The St. Franciscus Hospital, located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, sent us a request due to their need of temporary back-up power during the exchange of their Emergency Power installation.

We provided temporary power and distribution to the F1 campsite in Zandvoort for the camping and camper pitches, lighting, catering, toilets and sanitary facilities.

The hospital in Vestfold, Norway contacted us because they needed a reliable back-up power solution when they were awaiting the permanent installation.

Midgardsblot, a metal festival like no other, has been captivating heavy metal music enthusiasts and Viking culture enthusiasts for years. This extraordinary gathering takes place in the heart of South Norway, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and folklore-rich history.

The festival offers the best local artists in Norway and international artists. The festival needs a lot of power distributed to several locations since the festival area is approximately 80 000 square meters.

Paradise City required a power solution to power the festival and the campsite, with as little emissions as possible and naturally without compromising on quality and reliability.

Raw Air is a prestigious ski jumping tournament held annually in Vikersund, Norway. The event draws thousands of spectators from around the world and requires a reliable power solution to keep operations running smoothly.  

Holmenkollen ski festival is one of our recurring projects, and one of Norway’s biggest ski events that is a part of the cross-country world cup.

Klettur, a local Caterpillar dealer in Iceland reached out to us because they had a customer who were in need of back-up power.

We can deliver shore power to submarines in addition to boats and ships.

For a major grid supplier, we have set up a plan to ensure power back-up in case of grid failure or other sudden events.

During a cable installation project for an offshore windfarm, our customer required additional power to support their remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and cable carousel. 

Red-D-Arc Welderentals leases welders, welding positioners and welding-related equipment. They required an offshore power solution during the decommissioning of gas platforms Kinsale Alfa and Kinsale Beta, at the South coast of Ireland.  

Our customer Equinor requested us to execute a comprehensive load test before installing gas turbine generators on their offshore vessel. This is the largest load test we have delivered in Norway ever.

Our customer in Norway, who runs various data centers, needed help with testing of their back-up generators to make sure that they deliver enough power in case of a power shutdown in the grid.

Heerema is a company specialised in the engineering and fabrication of complex structures for offshore oil & gas and energy-related industries. Delivering on-time and with high quality and safety standards is firmly set in their DNA.

Our customer, active in waste management, opened a new plant. Due to a lack of infrastructure of the national power grid, they reached out for a reliable and customized power solution for a duration of minimum 6 months.  

Equinor will start the Johan Castberg oil field in the Barents Sea in 2023. It will consist of a seabed field and an anchored production ship – a so-called FPSO. The ship travelled from Singapore to Norway and we were challenged to design a temporary power solution for this voyage.
